The series has grown over time and is available in several versions, but the basic idea remains the same. A combination of function, form, and a distinct personality that ensures Gömma is meant to be seen. But where did it all begin? Here, Mattias Stenberg shares the thoughts and the idea behind Gömma:

"Gömma is really the result of my own allergy to clutter. It's a way to 'store in the open' and avoid stowing away your everyday items in drawers. Just put the lid on, wherever the clutter arises. Even though it is called Gömma [to hide], there is nothing anonymous about it. It is meant to be seen on the table, in the window, or on the shelf. It should have a bit of a mind of its own, just like Klong."
