KLONG are launching a new furniture concept KLONG HORIZON

At the Stockholm Furniture Fair 2012, KLONG launches a new concept where the customers are given the opportunity to assemble the furniture themselves. With a smarter design, where the furniture is delivered in a flat package, the cost for assembly and transport is reduced. We can offer a larger customer base, quality furniture with sustainable design at attractive prices.
More and more customers go to furniture store to see and try out designer furniture and then go home and order the product at lower prices over the Internet. This means that centrally located stores function more as ”showrooms” and are finding it increasingly difficult to survive.
The customers should be able to choose to assemble the furniture
themselves or to have it completely assembled for them.
Klong Horizon works with Swedish designers who all have
put great emphasis into the details. The collection, which currently
consists of seven items, has found its own expression in functional
and classical models.

FEBRUARY 2012 – three pieces within the new
KLONG HORIZON collection

PLATEAU Table

Plateau has legs of painted steel and a tabletop in Valchromat (coloured MDF). A tabletop in limestone can be specially ordered. The table is fitted with fine brass fittings. They are available in two sizes -
designed as a high console table or as a coffee
table.

The dimensions are:
Low table W 40 L 115 H 47 cm
High table W 40 L 115 H 74 cm

KNOPP Lamp

Knopp is made of laser cut birch plywood, armature in moulded birch with brass knobs. The lamp is available in three sizes.

The measurements are:
Small lamp W 44 H 38cm
Large lamp B 58 H 55 cm
Extra large Lamp B 78 H 72 cm
